The CityPorts Implementation Programme 2007 - 2010 came up last May for discussion in the Local Authority Committee for Economy, Social Affairs, the Port and the Environment. The discussion featured, among other things, questions over the financing for the programme. Approximately 420 million Euros is to be invested up to 2010. A procedure has begun to obtain a FES Fund contribution of 44 million Euros and the Implementation Programme forms the basis for the application. The committee reacted positively to the Programme.
