Facilitating the growing port
To help Rotterdam maintain its leading role in the European market, the Eemhaven is to become the 'shortsea hub' of Europe. Maasvlakte 2 will allow the port and its industry room to expand and cope with the increasing amounts of volume and containers. Moving the container sector to Maasvlakte 2 will free up space for technically innovative companies, maritime services, creative economy and ICT.  |
