Waalhaven East: improved accessibility

The aim is to attract international companies to set up on the eastern side of the Waalhaven, but, in order to make this feasible, the infrastructure must be improved to make the east and south sides more accessible. There will also need to be better public transport links by bus and over the water. Railway lines will be tidied up, roads widened and a new pedestrian and cycle bridge built. The landscaping will also be improved as part of the Dockworks office project, which includes a boardwalk for the residents of Charlois and people who work nearby.
