The RDM site / Heijsehaven district

The Port of Rotterdam authority is redeveloping the RDM site as a campus for educational institutions, knowledge development, innovative manufacturing, new energy sources, maritime services and mixed cargo companies. The idea is to achieve a good mix of industrial and social facilities, incorporating the most significant historic buildings in the redevelopment.

The Heijsehaven will follow a maritime theme, with moorings for inland navigation, a maritime training college and a boulevard.
